# Kings' Rest +17 — TIMED

30:13 · +1, 8% under the 33:00 par · 1 death · Fortified, Tyrannical, Xal'atath's Guile

**Tip:** Rebuke the second caster when the first is called

## Kings' Rest +17 timed with 2:47 to spare and one death; the kicks overlapped more than they missed.

A clean timed +17 at 30:13 against a 33:00 timer, and it raised Hyporock's rating from 3473.6 to 3483.9. All four bosses died on the first pull. The only death was Fury Warrior at 10:38, who stood in King Timalji's Bladestorm for three ticks and died within a second. It cost about 15 seconds. Holy Priest carried a heavy healing load, because this key needed more healing per second than 95% of the keys the scale was built from. The group stopped 97% of the casts it could reach. Most of the waste came from two players kicking the same cast.

**What to change**

1. Agree a kick order for the Mchimba mummies and the Hex Priest pull before the next Kings' Rest
2. Fury Warrior steps out of King Timalji's Bladestorm
3. Arcane Mage removes Hex Volley in the opening trash
4. Nothing to change on Hyporock's cooldowns

## How to improve

**Brewmaster Monk — Brewmaster**

Keep: Led the kicks and stayed alive. He stopped 21 casts, the most in the group. He never died despite taking the most damage, and every boss went down on the first pull. Change: press Spear Hand Strike when a pull has two kickable casters. He set up the overlaps with Hyporock on Hex Volley and Soul Bolt. A spoken kick order on pulls with two casters would fix that from both sides. Fewer leaked casts in the Mchimba and Hex Priest pulls.

**Holy Priest — Holy Priest**

Keep: Carried an unusually heavy key. She covered 98% of the damage that needed an outside heal. This key asked for more healing per second than 95% of past keys, and she also cleared Frost Shock 8 times. Change: press nothing nothing to change on this run. Every axis scored 80 or higher. The dispels she missed overlapped debuffs already being cleansed. Same result next key.

**Arcane Mage — Arcane Mage**

Keep: Steady damage and kicks. She did 220,847 DPS and never died. She stopped more casts than expected for her role, and she took the least damage of anyone. Change: press Remove Curse when Risen Hexer's Hex Volley lands on the party. Hex Volley is a curse and she is the only one who can remove it. None of the 5 applications were removed, and together they dealt 5.9M. A smaller healing load in the opening trash.

**Hyporock — Ret Paladin**

Keep: Every burst window was fed. All 13 Wings presses across the four bosses had a trinket inside them, and the Light's Potential potion went into Wings on Council and Dazar. The 8.9 second gap on Council was the handoff from Aka'ali to Zanazal, so it was not idle time. Change: press Rebuke when Fury Warrior or Brewmaster Monk is already on a Half-Finished Mummy or a Hex Priest. 7 of your 9 wasted Rebukes landed within 0.4 seconds of a teammate's kick on the same cast, and 5 of those collided with Fury Warrior. Rebuke stays ready for the next cast. Twice a wasted Rebuke let the following cast through before it came back.

**Fury Warrior — Fury**

Keep: Top damage at the lowest item level. He did the most damage in the group. He did it in gear about 20 item levels below everyone else, and he still stopped 14 casts. Change: press movement when King Timalji starts Bladestorm. He took three Bladestorm ticks of about 370k each in one second at 10:38 and died. Spell Reflection does nothing against it. No death, and the 15 seconds come back.

### As a group

The route and pace were fine: 27:44 of fighting and 1:55 of walking, with no wiped pull. The thing nobody can fix alone is kick order. The group pressed 82 kicks for 58 stops, and 21 of the extra presses went on casts someone had already stopped. On the Mchimba mummies and the Hex Priest pull, Fury Warrior and Hyporock reacted to the same cast at the same moment five times. Give each melee a fixed target or a fixed turn in the order before those pulls.

## Notes

### Burn Corruption is not over-exposure

The grader says Hyporock took Burn Corruption 3 times while his peers took it once. Mchimba cast it 5 times, and each cast hits one chosen player. It picked Hyporock for 3 of the 5, so he could not have avoided it.

### Tank grade reads low

Brewmaster Monk's D comes mostly from the mitigation axis (39), which measures how much of the fight his active mitigation was up. He took no deaths and the healer stayed comfortable on every boss. Treat the letter as a prompt to check his brew usage on Warcraft Logs, not as a verdict.

## Method

Each axis is scored 0 to 100 against what this run allowed, not against a fixed target. A player is only scored on things their spec can do. An axis that does not apply is left out and the other weights are scaled up. 100 means nothing was missed; a solid, even key usually lands near 75. Survival and mechanics carry no weight of their own: they start at 100 and take points off when something went wrong.
