Why it failed: Overpull: Big pull right after boss, healer CDs down (Blood DK)
Tip: Step out of Rotten Ground; 4 ticks set up your 3:15 death
A big pull right after the Hoardmonger, with the healer's cooldowns down, wiped the group and ended the key.
The opener with both Tender packs went clean, with Bloodlust on it. The next pull cost Hyporock and Windwalker Monk a death each, both from standing in Rotten Ground while Feast of Misery hit the party. The Hoardmonger died at 9:12. Blood DK then pulled a large group of Gatherers, Tenders and two Matriarchs 16 seconds later. Spirit Link, Astral Shift and Healing Tide were all still recharging. The tank died 42 seconds into that pull. The other four followed within 7 seconds, and the key was dropped after that wipe. The wipe is on the tank's pull, and the Rotten Ground deaths are on the players who stood in it.
What to change
- Everyone: step out of Rotten Ground, most of all while Feast of Misery channels
- Blood DK: after a boss, wait for healer cooldowns before the big pull
- Hyporock: Cleanse Toxins on yourself first when the Monk can Detox
- Nothing to change on Resto Shaman

How to improve
Blood DK Blood DK
Keep: Held the double-Tender opener. You pulled the opener with both Tender packs and the group killed it with no deaths. Change: press Death's Caress right after a boss, with the healer's cooldowns down. You pulled the big Gatherer and Tender group 16 seconds after the Hoardmonger died. Spirit Link, Astral Shift and Healing Tide were all still recharging, and you died under two Matriarchs. Waiting for Spirit Link, or splitting that group, gives the healer an answer to the Matriarchs.
Resto Shaman Resto Shaman
Keep: Carried a very heavy healing load. This key needed more healing per second than 95% of the keys the healing scale was built from. You covered 84% of what needed an outside heal. Your Poison Cleansing Totem took Toxic Spores off the party seven times from one drop.
Windwalker Monk Windwalker
Keep: Top damage, Detox and Paralysis. You did the most damage, removed Mother's Wrath with Paralysis, and Detoxed Toxic Spores off yourself and others through the boss. Change: press Movement when Rotten Ground lands under you during Feast of Misery. Your first death came from three Rotten Ground ticks while Feast was hitting. Stepping out keeps you alive through the Feast.
Hyporock Ret Paladin
Keep: Lay on Hands and Sacrifice on others. Your Lay on Hands caught Windwalker Monk at 14% during the Hoardmonger fight, and he lived. Your Sacrifice on the tank in the opener moved 754k onto you. Change: press Movement when Rotten Ground lands under you during Feast of Misery. You stayed in one Rotten Ground for four ticks while Feast of Misery was hitting everyone. Those ticks came to about 1M, and an Earth Bolt finished you. Stepping out within a second skips the tick, and you dodged most of the others.
Fury Warrior Fury
Keep: Recklessness and kicks. Recklessness went out 7 times across the key, and you stopped as many casts as the grader expected. Change: press Movement when Rotten Ground lands under you. You took 19 Rotten Ground ticks, the most in the group. Hyporock, also in melee, took 6. That damage is healing Resto Shaman didn't have to spend in a key that already needed a lot of it.
As a group
The opener with both Tender packs went clean, so the route itself was fine. Both deaths in the second pull came from standing in Rotten Ground while Feast of Misery hit the party. Move out of every puddle while Feast is channeling. After the Hoardmonger, wait for Spirit Link and Healing Tide before the big Gatherer and Tender pull, or take it in two parts. The tank's death started the wipe, and the Matriarchs killed everyone else within seconds.
Deaths 7
7 deaths in 3 separate incidents. The wipe at 10:11 (5 deaths in 7s) was the big one.

Costliest pulls
Cost is the time the pull lost: a wipe loses the whole pull, a pull that held loses only its deaths.

Notes
Toxic Spores at 8:46
Hyporock took 2 stacks of Toxic Spores at 8:46-8:48. At 8:52.9 he used Cleanse Toxins on Windwalker Monk, who has his own Detox and used it at 8:54.1. Hyporock's Spores ticked until 9:00.5 for about 1.08M; with a 561k Hearty Bellow he fell to 14% and pressed Divine Protection at 8%. With a Monk in the group, cleanse yourself first when you carry the stacks.
Rotten Ground across the key
Ticks taken and damage, from keydb: Fury Warrior 19 ticks from 25 landings (4.63M), Windwalker Monk 17 from 24 (3.83M), Hyporock 6 from 17 (1.61M, about 1.04M of it in the stay before his 3:15 death), Resto Shaman 4 from 15 (0.94M). The grader excuses Rotten Ground per target, so none of this shows as avoidable on the grade page.
