Overpull15-mob post-Ikuzz pack wipedgroupDropped earlyleft at 17:43 while still timeablegroupTipRebuke on cooldown in big caster pulls

Dropped at 17:43 with 12:17 left and two bosses to go. It was still timeable by about three minutes.

The key was live when it was abandoned. At 17:43 the party had both of the first two bosses down - Trinity at 9:38, Ikuzz at 14:51 - and 102 enemies killed. The +15 they timed on 09-18 was slower at the same moment: Trinity did not die until about 12:39 there and Ikuzz was still alive at 17:43, and that run still finished in 26:17. Everything after the 17:43 mark took it 8:34. This group had 12:17.

Pricing the two remaining bosses at their worst observed times - Ruia 4:28 from the 09-18 +16, Ziekett 3:10 - plus a corpse run and the four mobs left standing gets to about 10:30. Tight, and one more wipe ends it, but live.

What ended it was pull 4, opened at 15:17.64 on a 15-mob pack holding two Luminous Thornmaws and two Leafy Grovecrawlers.

How it went

  2. 13:56Fury Warrior to Incise from Ikuzz the Light Hunter. No defensive pressed.
  3. 16:19Resto Druid to Seed Shot from Leafy Grovecrawler. No defensive pressed.
  4. 17:23CascadeBrewmaster Monk, Hyporock, Fury Warrior and Resto Druid in 7 s, to Grievous Gash, Melee and Spouting Floret. Brewmaster Monk went first. 3 of 4 with no defensive pressed.
  5. 17:43The key was dropped 17:43 in, with 10:40 left on the timer.

What to change, biggest first

  1. Group: split the post-Ikuzz pack, or focus one Leafy Grovecrawler down before touching anything else. Two of them cast faster than four interrupts can cover.
  2. Hyporock: press Rebuke on cooldown inside that pull. 4 presses in 2:26 with a 37-second dead stretch is where the healer died.
  3. Group: five deaths at 17:23-17:30 with no defensive pressed by the tank, Hyporock or Fury Warrior. Divine Shield was spent at 17:02 and nothing else went out.
  4. Do not drop this key at 17:43 again. Two bosses in 12:17 is inside this group's own measured pace.

What the group changes together

The key died on one pull. Pull 4 at 15:18 took 5 people and cost 3:39, and the group abandoned at 17:43. Before that the run was healthy. The thing to change is the recovery: three of the five deaths landed within 11 seconds of each other at 17:23, which is a group that kept fighting after the pull was already lost. Call it earlier and walk out with the time.

The comp

No comp problem. This is the same five-slot shape that timed the +15 later and the +16 was simply a harder key. Curse removal sat on two bars and was used on neither.

Notes

Where the numbers need a second look

Two Grovecrawlers is more than four kickers can hold

Each Leafy Grovecrawler chain-casts Seed Shot on a 3.6-second cycle and never stops. Mob 1 cast 30 times from 15:19.28 to 17:34.56; mob 2 joined at 16:17.97 and cast 17 more. Forty-seven casts, 28 through, at 350-430k each. The party landed 12 interrupts in the entire pull.

The turn is exact: the second Grovecrawler's first cast is 16:17.97 and Resto Druid dies 1.4 s later at 16:19.40. Hyporock battle-rezzed him at 16:22.32, and from there it was two chain-casters against a just-rezzed healer. The wipe ran 17:23.07 to 17:30.24 with the pack at 17%, 21%, 24% and 36% - fifteen more seconds and it was dead.

Hyporock's own share is rate, not aim: 4 Rebukes in a 2:26 pull where the cooldown allowed 9, including a 37-second gap from 15:59.95 to 16:37.02 that covered thirteen Seed Shot casts and Resto Druid's death.

Same pull, second time

The 09-18 +16 died in this same stretch: pull 3 at 14:14, 20 mobs, 6 deaths, key over. This one at 15:18, 15 mobs, 5 deaths, key over. Two attempts, same place, same shape. The answer is a kill order rather than more kicks - the Grovecrawlers were the only casters in the pack and everything else was melee, so killing one of them was worth more than any kick once the second opened up.
