TipDivine Steed to the next pack as the last mob dies

Enh Shaman built his lead in the first 15 seconds of trash pulls; Hyporock out-damaged him on every boss.

Timed with 70 seconds to spare. It is Hyporock's first timed Altar of Fangs at this level. Unholy DK died first, one-shot from full health by a Venom Leech's Septic Spatter at 0:46. Pres Evoker died at 11:30 with Hatchlings and a Bloodletter meleeing them, and Hyporock's battle rez had them back within seconds. On damage Enh Shaman finished 8% ahead of Hyporock. Almost all of that gap came in the opening seconds of trash pulls, where his Maelstrom spells hit from range while Hyporock was still walking in. After the opening they were level, and Hyporock beat him on all 3 bosses.

What to change, biggest first

  1. Hyporock: Divine Steed toward the next pack as soon as the last mob dies.
  2. Hyporock: Divine Storm over Final Verdict at 5+ targets unless a Divine Storm Arbiter is waiting.
  3. Unholy DK: Anti-Magic Shell on Septic Spatter in the opening pack.
  4. Group: stun or taunt loose Hatchlings and Bloodletters off the healer on the 11:13 pull.

What the group changes together

The 11:13 pull is the one to talk about. Hatchlings and a Bloodletter got onto Pres Evoker and nobody stunned or taunted them off before the death. Prot Warrior's Disrupting Shout pulled them back half a second too late. On that pull, a stun from a DPS or an earlier taunt saves the healer and the battle rez. The rest of the route was clean and fast.

Notes

Where the numbers need a second look

Where the damage gap came from

Enh Shaman out-damaged Hyporock by 46.4M. Split by pull phase, 42.4M of it came in the first 15 seconds of pulls and 3.9M after; on the 3 bosses Hyporock was 4.5M ahead. The Hatchling wave at 20:23 alone was 13.8M: 15 Hatchlings with Doom Winds up for him, while Hyporock pressed Final Verdict on the Ascendant Serpent 7 times with 9 to 18 enemies in Divine Storm range and no Divine Arbiter to cash. Across the key, 21 Final Verdicts at 5+ targets had no Arbiter or Empyrean Legacy behind them, roughly 4M as Divine Storms. The other 36 cashed a Divine Storm Arbiter, which is correct.
