Lack of interruptsimps' Felfire Burst leaked, 2 Lithiel wipesgroupTipDodge Malefic Wave on Lithiel

Three bosses down by 20:36 was on pace; two wipes on Lithiel Cinderfury ended it, and two of your four deaths were to damage three of the party never took.

The key was lost on the last boss. Kystia died at 7:50, Zaen at 12:11 and Xathuux at 20:36 — against a 34:01 timer, that pace times the key even carrying thirteen deaths. Lithiel was pulled at 25:42 and wiped at 28:41; pulled again at 29:54 with 4:07 left, and wiped at 32:20. The second attempt was over before it started.

The first wipe was not yours. The tank went from 99% to 24% on a single Infernal swing (1,036,360 — the record prints 2,858,080 from Lithiel because the pipeline counts every melee swing twice) and Lithiel's own 393k finished him two seconds later. She then turned to you, and nothing on a Retribution Paladin's bar answers a boss melee. The second wipe was the Wild Imps: 281 of 331 Felfire Bursts leaked, and a minute after you went down at 31:13 the tank, lock and healer died to it inside five seconds.

Your own deaths split cleanly. Two were beyond you — the Street Sneak opener at 0:34 and Lithiel's melee at 28:17. Two were position: a Defiled Golem's Fel Beam at 24:48, a beam that damages what it touches and that the mage and lock never touched, and Fingers of Gul'dan at 31:13 while Malefic Wave — a dodgeable wave that adds 50% fire damage taken per stack — ticked on you (29 ticks across the two attempts, zero on the other three players). And the health potion was pressed once in 36 minutes.

What to change, biggest first

  1. Dodge Malefic Wave on Lithiel — three of five players took it zero times; you took 29 ticks, and it is why a 444k Fingers of Gul'dan killed you from 61%.
  2. Walk out of Fel Beam on the Defiled Golems; it only damages what it touches, and the ranged players never touched it.
  3. Press the health potion when a death has a runway — it was up for 29 of these 36 minutes and two of your four deaths took 5–11 seconds to arrive.
  4. Cleanse Toxins on the tank every time Heartstop Poison lands when the healer is a priest: nine applications, four cleansed, 7.6 M let through.
  5. Try Blinding Light on Lithiel's imp packs; it was talented and never pressed, and Felfire Burst is what ended the second attempt.
  6. Nothing to change on kicks, Lay on Hands, Divine Protection or the offensive cooldowns — all on schedule.

Notes

Where the numbers need a second look

Four deaths, sorted by what you could have done

0:34 — Street Sneaks opened on you at 100%: four melee hits (856,678) and three Heartstop Poison hits (764,421) between 0:30 and 0:34, 1.62 M on an 880k bar. Divine Protection was already up (pressed at 0:31). Only Divine Shield answers a 4-second kill from full, and it was available — first used at 10:55. That is a one-second decision, so file it as 'bubble on the Sneak opener' rather than a fault.

24:48 — you sat at 57% for eleven seconds, then Fel Beam from a Defiled Golem: 929,106 in the window, 326,164 as the killing blow. Fel Beam 'inflicts Fire damage every 1 sec to enemies it comes into contact with' — it is a beam you walk out of. It touched the tank 4 times, you 3, the healer once, and the mage and lock never. Divine Shield had been spent at 24:01 and Divine Protection at 24:11, Healthstones were gone by 16:29; the potion had been available since 7:22.

28:17 — the tank died at 28:13 and Lithiel's melee came to you: 539k a swing, 1.1 M in 3.7 s from 85%. Nothing to do; you had bubbled at 27:57 and it had expired.

31:13 — the second attempt. Malefic Wave had been ticking on you since at least 31:06 (66–70k a tick), Searing Fel Flame every second on top (75k), and at 61% a Fingers of Gul'dan landed for 443,986. Fingers is a 5-second cast that hits every player for that much on this Tyrannical +15 — it is unavoidable but announced, and at 61% with the wave amplifying fire damage it was lethal. Divine Protection had gone out at 30:15 and was 2–6 seconds from returning; Lay on Hands had gone out at 30:30; no Healthstone left; the potion was available. Malefic Wave hit the tank 95 times and you 29 across the two attempts, and the mage, lock and priest zero — three players dodged every wave.

What was outside your control, and what you did well

The party's thirteen deaths: the tank twice, the lock four times (twice inside 25 seconds to Wrathguard Flayer melee at 21:37 and 22:02), the mage twice, the healer once, you four. Every one of the party's pulls after Xathuux carried deaths. The Lithiel fight itself was mostly the imps: Wild Imps burst from the impact sites of Fingers of Gul'dan and cast Felfire Burst 267 times in this key and Unleashed Imps another 151; of the 331 the model could see, 50 were stopped. Blinding Light is talented on your bar and was never pressed in this key — a 10-yard disorient would stop every imp near you mid-cast, if they are not immune, which the log cannot say; the Corrupted Warlocks in this dungeon are.

On your side: 22 interrupts against the 29 the model expected, second only to the tank's 89 and more than the mage and lock combined (20). Lay on Hands five times, two of them on Lithiel at 26:24 and 30:30; Divine Protection sixteen times, at 60–70 second gaps through the middle of the key, which is on cooldown; Blessing of Protection three times; Blessing of Sacrifice eight. The cooldown buttons ran to schedule: 27 Avenging Wrath for 27 Execution Sentence, 47 Wake of Ashes, 27 Divine Toll, six Potions of Recklessness. You were engaged 95% of the time you were alive in combat, which the activity axis reads as fine.

Damage, and why the number is what it is

185,245 dps, 86% of the other two damage dealers' median, with the lock at 247k and the mage at 210k at the same item level. Read it through the run's shape: the axis divides by the whole 36:43 of the key, you were dead four times, and every player in it was dead at least once. The measured gap to the lock is the same 75–80% you show in every recent Ret key next to a strong Demonology lock, including the key that followed this one in the same dungeon, and the archive's same-spec control (a Ret Paladin, within 5% of you across three keys) says that is the spec's position rather than a rotation fault.

The one habit the archive prices is Blade of Justice: 129 casts, median gap 9.05 s (fine), but 22 gaps over 20 seconds where a comparable Ret shows three in a key. The 26% Holy Power overcap is the build's constant and not a finding.

The poison and the potion

Heartstop Poison (474515) — 30% off maximum health and 872,841 Nature over 15 seconds — landed on the tank nine times and on you once. Holy Priest is a Holy Priest and cannot dispel Poison; you cleansed the tank four times, all between 10:04 and 12:07, and six applications ran for a total of 59 seconds and 7.6 M. Cleanse Toxins is on an 8-second cooldown, so every one of them was reachable.

The Concentrated Silvermoon Health Potion was pressed once, at 2:22, alongside the first Healthstone. It was available again from 7:22 and never used, through a death at 24:48 that took eleven seconds to arrive and one at 31:13 that had a 5-second cast bar in front of it. The three Healthstones were spent by 16:29, before either of the Lithiel attempts.
