Deathless and timed in 25:15, the fastest Voidscar at +13 or above on record; the 75 seconds to a ++ are on Taz'Rah's shades, which the grader wrongly excused.

Nobody's fault, because nothing went wrong: zero deaths, one chest, 25:15 against a 30-minute par, and 81 seconds quicker than the same tank's +13 five days ago with a level more of mob health. It is the fastest Voidscar Arena at +13 or higher in this archive.

Three decisions made it. The route never touched the Agitated Voidscythes, so Corrosive Essence - the poison behind two deaths on 09-05 and three on 09-01 - was not cast once. Doryhunky opened the arena on Chitigoth alone and had him dead 48 seconds after the first glaive, so Insidious Aura pulsed about twice instead of killing somebody. And the group stopped 82% of what it could reach, its best Voidscar figure (67% on 09-05, 74% on 09-08), including all four Shadowbolt Volleys - the one cast in this dungeon worth over a million per landing.

A ++ needs 24:00, 75 seconds away. Routing was 2:04, nearly all of it the walks to Atroxus and Charonus, so the time is in combat, and the biggest single sink on this page is one the tables hide: Taz'Rah's Ethereal Shades. Their Nether Dash did 36.6 million - 12% of everything the party took all key, inside one 2:51 fight - and the grader excused it for all five of you as "the enemy chose the targets". It did not. The dash names nobody; Hyporock was hit once in 25 dashes and Doryhunky ten times. Mechanics reads 100 for everyone on this key, and on Taz'Rah it should not.

What to change, biggest first

  1. Group: on Taz'Rah, play the shades, not the boss - 36.6 million of the fight's 46 million was Nether Dash, and Hyporock took one hit in 25 standing where Assass Rogue took five. This is the 75 seconds and the healer's whole fight.
  2. Group: the first Magma Totem of the key lived 21 seconds and did 4.1 million. Kill it before the pack, every time - it is one global from anyone.
  3. Hyporock: five Lava Bolts completed with Rebuke ready and the shaman within eight yards. The opener has two shamans casting in pairs; pair your Rebuke with Assass Rogue's Kick there.
  4. Assass Rogue: Dimensional Shred hit you 8 times to Hyporock's 3 from the same melee - find what you are doing differently on the Voidminders.
  5. Holy Paladin, Doryhunky: nothing to change. That is the best healing score on a key this high, and the arena order carried the run.

Notes

Where the numbers need a second look

Taz'Rah: the dashes are the fight, and mechanics 100 is wrong for it

Five Ethereal Shades cast Nether Dash 25 times between 6:26 and 8:25, in bursts of five inside two seconds. The cast carries no target in the log. Anyone standing in the line takes about 300,000 up front and a damage-over-time worth roughly 1.15 million more before it runs out. Direct hits: Doryhunky 10, Arcane Mage 7, Assass Rogue 5, Holy Paladin 5, Hyporock 1. Total 36,592,454, against 9.4 million from everything Taz'Rah cast himself (Dark Bloom 7.5M, Void Blast 1.9M). The shades were four-fifths of the fight's damage; the boss was the rest.

Arbiter's forced-multi-target rule saw simultaneous applications on a moving set of players and excused the spell for everybody. That is the shape of a boss choosing victims, and it is also the shape of five lines crossing a room. Hyporock and Assass Rogue shared the same melee and took one and five - that is position, not selection. Doryhunky's ten may be the tank's lot if the shades converge on the boss; the log cannot say. Read every mechanics score on this key as unmeasured rather than clean.

The opener, the totems, and the kicks

Eleven Magma Totems, eleven killed, median life 2.4 seconds - as good as the 09-05 clear (2.1 s). But three lived: the first of the key at 0:27 for 21.1 seconds (4,072,764), the second at 0:29 for 6.9 (1.3M), and one at 17:09 for 8.6 (2.28M). Those three are two-thirds of all Searing Magma in the key (11.6M, 3.7% of intake), and the first alone did nearly as much as all 22 Lava Bolts that landed (5.2M). Hyporock killed seven of the eleven, all three slow ones included - he is the group's totem answer, and even he needed 21 seconds to see the first.

The first 62 seconds were also where the Lava Bolts got through: 14 of the 22 that completed (the table's stricter count is 15 of 52). The opener pack has two Enthralled Shamans casting in pairs - identical timestamps at 0:31, 0:56, 0:59 and 1:02 - and everyone's kick was down for most of it. With positions read off the log and a 15-second Rebuke, Hyporock had his kick ready and was within eight yards of the caster for five of the 22 (0:36, 0:42, 1:02, 16:51, 20:49): about 1.2 million, 0.4% of intake, and that is the whole gap between his 13 stops and the 16 the table expected. Lava Bolt is the cheapest cast on the kick list; the expensive one never landed.

The arena, done right

Doryhunky's Throw Glaive hit Chitigoth at 3:33, the Raging Raptor pack was live eight seconds later, and Chitigoth died at 4:21. The Protective Turtle and Brutok were pulled within nine seconds of his death, the Abducted Drakonid at 5:05, and the last of them died at 6:10 - 2:37 from first glaive to empty arena, never more than three packs up and mostly two. Insidious Aura cost 5.6 million across the five of you, between 0.8 and 1.35 million each, and nobody dropped. On the 09-05 clear the same five pulls were spread over 152 seconds, took 4:14 of fighting, and killed the mage.

Player by player

Doryhunky (A-): 39 stops - 25 kicks and 14 crowd-control stops - more than the other four combined (30). Mitigation was up 99% of the time the kit allows. Nothing to change; the ten dashes are the open question above.

Holy Paladin (A, 91): the second-highest healer score of 99 healer-keys in the archive, and the highest key any healer has scored above 90 on. Covered 85% of the 175 million that needed an outside heal, put back 56% of what landed in the party's worst eight-second windows, and dispelled Melt Armor ten times - an armour shred the dispel table never credits - plus Mind-Numbing Poison five. Holy Power overcapped 7%. Blessing of Protection never pressed; nothing needed it.

Arcane Mage (B+): top damage at 240,654 and seven kicks. Utility 0 carries no weight in the grade. Seven dashes.

Hyporock (B, 79): 224,856, 96% of the median - the three damage dealers sit within 7% of each other, so the B is a rank, not a shortfall. Holy Power overcap of 26% is his constant (25-27% in all six keys tonight); the part he chooses is still Blade of Justice, per the earlier note. Cleanse Toxins pressed four times (three Mind-Numbing Poison, one Poison Splash) - the only key tonight he used it. One dash in 25.

Assass Rogue (C+, 68): 227,608, 98% of the median. The grade is activity (89% engaged) and Dimensional Shred, the Voidminder's 60-yard shred, which hit him 8 times against Holy Paladin 4, Hyporock 3, Doryhunky 1 - counted off the raw log, real, 1.5 million. On activity: his pauses of eight seconds or more total 124 seconds against Hyporock's 109, and they are the same walks, so the missing 8% is many short pauses; the axis cannot tell energy pooling from inattention. Combo points overcapped 17%.
