Timed with 3:49 to spare and four deaths; Hyporock died twice with no defensive pressed, the second time over nine seconds with Lay on Hands and Blessing of Protection both off cooldown.
A comfortable +1: 28:11 against a 32:00 par, 95% of the clock in combat across eight big pulls, and a minute of death penalty that did not threaten the timer. The party was strong — an Arms Warrior at 282k, a Devourer at 232k and Hyporock at 241k, all within 20% of each other — and the route was the aggressive kind, 197 kills in eight pulls, three of them over 20 mobs.
The deaths are the story, and none of them cost the key. Hyporock's C reads harshly for a 241k parse; nine of the points are the two deaths, and the damage axis is a rank against a Warrior who out-parsed him. The first death was a spent kit — Divine Shield, Lay on Hands and Blessing of Protection had all gone out in the ninety seconds before a 1.04 M two-hit burst. The second one had two buttons available and unpressed: nine seconds under fifty-three mobs, 1.58 M of it plain melee, with Lay on Hands and Blessing of Protection both sitting ready — the latter used sixty-eight seconds later.
This key is also the before-picture for the Kings' Rest that followed it: Avenging Wrath went out with Expurgation on the target 10 of 23 times here, and 26 of 26 an hour and a half later with the new cue on screen.
