Wrong targetOverseer's shield ignored through SlamsgroupBad pullgripped Overseer pack with Harrower aliveBlood DKTipSwap to the Overseer when Brutal Slams starts
Brutal Slams ran for 22 seconds because 76% of the party's damage went into the Brawler, Shaman and Harrower instead of the Overseer's 4.0M shield; four people died inside it.
Abandoned at 12:37 after the pull past Taz'Rah wiped, and the timer went with it: the two deaths already banked plus five inside that pull put the in-game clock past 30:00 for the rest of the route, so leaving was the right call. Until then the key was on pace. The 09-15 +15 that timed with 3:14 to spare reached this same pull at 10:15; this group reached it at 10:33, on course for a +1 with about two minutes in hand.
Whose fault: nobody's alone, and not the healer's. The pull past Taz'Rah is two packs, and the second holds a Brutal Overseer whose Brutal Slams is a 30-second, party-wide, unavoidable hit that grows 10% per slam and stops only when the 4.03M shield he puts on himself is broken. That shield is about five seconds of this party's combined damage. It stood for 22 seconds, because while the slams ran the party landed 12.8M on the Dominated Brawler, the Enthralled Shaman and the Watchful Harrower and 4.0M on the shield. Ele Shaman, Hyporock, Resto Druid and Arcane Mage died between 11:50 and 12:07 with the slams still going.
Two decisions set it up. The Harrower from the first pack, 31.1M health and the biggest thing in the pull, was still alive at 38% when Blood DK gripped the Overseer pack in at 11:33, so its Sky Strike (1.4M across four people) landed in the same second the shield went up. And Resto Druid's Tranquility, last used at 5:01 on a three-minute cooldown, was available for all 22 seconds and stayed on the bar.
