Avoidable damageTaz'Rah: Fissure, Dark Bloom, dash lineBlood DKArms WarriorHyporock

Taz'Rah wiped after 3 avoidable deaths, and the tank's death in a Void Fissure ended the pull.

The first pull was the hardest part of the run, and it held. The Feral Saberon's leaps killed Resto Shaman and Arcane Mage there, but the group finished it.

On Taz'Rah, 3 players died one after another to things they could have stepped away from. Arms Warrior took a Dark Bloom burst nobody else took, Hyporock stood in the line of Arms Warrior's Nether Dash, and Blood DK stayed in a Void Fissure until they died. With the tank down, the boss turned on the rest. The key was abandoned with Taz'Rah at 71% health (from the log). Each of those deaths came from one player's positioning, and none came from a lack of healing.

Top damage, kicks covered

Your damage was the highest of the DPS, at 113% of the others' median. You stopped more casts than your share. Divine Protection went out just before the first Nether Dash wave.

The one change

PRESSAvenging Wrath

WHEN
When the pack before Taz'Rah is nearly dead.
WHY
You pressed Wings on that pack, 26 s before the boss pull (from the log). It came back 34 s into Taz'Rah, so the fight opened without it. Your death there was the Nether Dash line you already know about.
PAYOFF
Your boss plan puts the first Wings on the pull, which fits one more window into the fight.

  2. 7:55Full wipeArms Warrior, Hyporock, Blood DK, Arcane Mage and Resto Shaman in 39 s, to Dark Bloom, Nether Dash, Void Fissure and Melee. Arms Warrior went first. 5 of 6 with no defensive pressed.
  3. 8:44The key was dropped 8:44 in, with 19:24 left on the timer.

What to change, biggest first

  1. Name a kicker for each Enthralled Shaman's Lava Bolt on the first pull.
  2. Blood DK: move the boss out of a Void Fissure as soon as it opens under you.
  3. Hyporock: hold Wings for the Taz'Rah pull when the pack before it is nearly dead.
  4. Arms Warrior: check what Dark Bloom's second hit targets before the next Voidscar.

What the group changes together

Most of the Lava Bolts that got through came from the Enthralled Shamans on the first pull, on a key that asked more healing than almost any in the archive. Name a kicker for each shaman before that pull. On Taz'Rah the stack on the boss worked, since nobody in it was hit by another player's Nether Dash. The deaths came from leaving the stack in the wrong direction or staying in a Void Fissure, so the tank should drag the boss clear when Umbral Rupture opens the fissures and everyone follows.

The comp

The comp had Bloodlust, a battle res and the cleanses this dungeon asks for, so it did not shape the result.

Where the numbers need a second look

Reading the grades on an abandoned key

The key stopped at 8:44, so every axis describes one large pull, one trash pull and 77 s of Taz'Rah. The WIPE line charges the whole boss pull (2:47) as lost, which is fair here because the key ended on it. Read Resto Shaman's throughput as a floor, since the key asked 137,051 healing per second, past the 95th percentile of the 55 keys that scale was cut on. Blood DK's D comes mostly from mitigation (60% uptime of the 77% the kit can hold) and activity (90%), both thin samples on 8 minutes.
