Overpullkept pulling after the healer died, 21 mobsDoryhunkyNo defensivehealer one-shot by Blast ChunksMistweaver Monk

The healer was one-shot at 0:27 and the tank kept going anyway — three packs chained across 220 yards, 21 mobs, ending on Defier Draghar — and everyone was dead by 3:15.

Abandoned at 3:34 after one pull that never ended. The tank engaged the first Earthshaper pack at 0:10 and was 123 yards on by 0:27 with ten mobs live; that is the second he lost his healer — Mistweaver Monk took Blast Chunks from a Primal Juggernaut for 925,883 in one hit, with nothing pressed. Most of those ten were dead by 1:35, with the healer back up on a resurrection and the mage dead at 1:28 to Excavating Blast. Then, instead of resetting, the tank moved 60 yards on and picked up seven more, and at 3:02, 223 yards from the start, three more and Defier Draghar. He died at 3:08 under 4.6 M of melee in eleven seconds and the other four followed within seven.

Sixteen of the twenty-one enemies did die, which is what the tank will point at; it took 3:06 of combat at 289k of party damage per second with the healer dead for part of it. The point where this was still a key was 0:27 — the moment to finish what was already live and reset, not the moment to keep walking.

Hyporock's B- is the one grade here that means something: 327k, top damage, four kicks, a Sacrifice on the tank as he went down, and one death at the very end with everyone else. Nothing in his sheet is why this ended.

What to change, biggest first

  1. Tank: when the healer dies at 0:27 the pull is finished where it stands. The eleven enemies engaged after that were a choice, and the last four of them were Defier Draghar's pack.
  2. Kick Ice Shield on the Flashfrost Chillweavers — it is a channel, it is kickable, and the two that got through ate 8.55 M of the party's damage.
  3. Healer and DPS: Frostbolt leaked 13 of 29 and was a killing blow; the healer stopped nothing and each DPS stopped three.
  4. Nothing to change for Hyporock — top damage, kicks on par, the Sacrifice was right, and the death was the wipe's.

Notes

Where the numbers need a second look

Whose fault: one decision, seven deaths

The log's positions on each player's own casts put the tank 123 yards from his first cast at 0:27, 182 yards on by 1:50, and 223 yards on at 3:06. Real enemies by first contact — a hit or a cast, the warlock's own Nether Portal demons excluded — run 8 by 0:20, 10 by 0:27, 17 by 2:00, 21 by 3:02. Three packs in one fight, with the second and third pulled after the healer had already died once.

**Mistweaver Monk, 0:27.** Blast Chunks, 925,883 in one hit, plus an Excavating Blast tick. No defensive, and there was no time for one — the Juggernaut's chunks land where they land. She was back on her feet (172k of her healing lands on the mage at 1:28) and died again at 3:13 to 1.55 M of melee in 1.6 s.

**Arcane Mage, 1:28.** Excavating Blast for 922k over seven seconds, nothing pressed; Prismatic Barrier was up for the second death at 3:10, which was 1.66 M over fourteen seconds.

**The wipe, 3:08–3:15.** The tank first, to Defier Draghar's melee, 5.0 M in 11.5 s with Demon Spikes and Hyporock's Blessing of Sacrifice both on him; then Hyporock (1.36 M of melee over 14.6 s, nothing pressed — Divine Shield had gone at 0:24 and Lay on Hands at 0:47, both on cooldown), the mage, the healer, the warlock. Five deaths in seven seconds is what a tank dying under twenty mobs looks like.

What the pack did, and the two things that were stoppable

Excavating Blast was 26% of everything the party took — 221 hits, 21.3 M, on all five — and Earthbound's Imprint another 13%. Those are the Juggernaut's and the Guardians' baseline output at this pull size; they are unavoidable only in the sense that nobody can move out of four sources at once.

Two things were stoppable. Frostbolt got through 13 of 29 times, and it was the killing blow on the healer's second death. Ice Shield — the Flashfrost Chillweavers' channelled shield, kickable — got through 2 of 7, and the two that landed absorbed 8.55 M of the party's damage (3.3% of everything attempted, split across a Deepstone Earthshaper and an Earthbound Guardian). The group stopped 21 of 30 kickable casts; the tank had five of them, the three DPS three each, the healer none.

On the grades: a three-minute wipe is not a sample, and the peer-ranked axes are ranks among five people who all died. The healer's throughput line is the one to disregard entirely — she was dead from 0:27 for a stretch of a fight whose demand was set by the pull, not by her.

Hyporock

327,038 DPS, 106% of the other damage dealers' median, 91% engaged, four casts stopped against four expected. Blessing of Sacrifice went onto the tank in his death window, which is the right external at the right moment and did not matter against 4.6 M of melee. One death, at 3:09 with the group, 1.7 M over fourteen seconds with nothing pressed — Divine Shield and Lay on Hands had both been spent in the first minute, Divine Protection would have bought a few seconds and no more, and there was nothing left to survive into. Holy Power overcap 35% on 239 generated is a small-sample number and not a finding.

The key that followed this one — the Ruby Life Pools +15, same tank, different group — went 28:20 and depleted by twenty seconds, which is its own record; this one was over before the second pack should have been pulled.
